Description

A lively Spicy Margarita that combines the crisp bite of lime, smooth tequila, and the heat of serrano chiles for an unforgettable cocktail experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz good tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz serrano chile (sliced)
  • Tajin seasoning (for rimming the glass)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare your glass by rimming it with Tajin.
  2. Slice the serrano chile and muddle it if desired.
  3. Mix the sliced serrano chile, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  4. Add the good tequila and fill the shaker with ice, then shake vigorously.
  5. Strain the mix into your prepared glass.
  6. Garnish with a slice of lime or serrano and enjoy!

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, swap tequila with club soda and agave syrup. Adjust heat by modifying serrano chile slices.
