- 5 cl Bourbon or rye whiskey
- 2 cl Lemon juice
- 1 cl Simple syrup
- 1.5 cl Red wine
- Foamer of your choice (egg white or aquafaba)
Instructions
- Prepare your gear: Grab a cocktail shaker and a fine-mesh strainer. Fill a rocks glass with ice.
- Mix the cocktail: Combine bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup in the shaker.
- Foam it up: If using a foamer, pour it in and shake without ice for 15 seconds.
- Add ice and shake again for about 10-15 seconds until it’s chilled.
- Strain and serve: Pour the mixture into the rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with red wine: Float it over the back of a spoon onto the drink.
- Garnish: Finish with a lemon wheel or cherry.
Notes
Adjust sweetness with more simple syrup if too sour. Use chilled ingredients for the best sipping experience.
