Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Spicy Sausage, Sliced
  • 1 Cup Long Grain Rice
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 Bell Pepper, Diced
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Chopped Parsley for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Sizzle the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. Sauté the onion and bell pepper until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and paprika, cooking for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice and toast for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in broth, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer until rice is tender, about 15–20 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then add chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, use plant-based sausage and vegetable broth. Adjust cooking times for brown rice.
