- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Green food coloring (optional)
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or parchment paper.
- Melt the butter over low heat in a medium saucepan.
- Mix the melted butter with the granulated sugar until fully combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then fold into the wet mixture.
- Pour the brownie batter into your prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the mint layer by beating cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and peppermint extract until smooth.
- Spread the mint layer evenly on the cooled brownies.
- Chill in the fridge for about an hour to set.
- Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle over the mint layer.
- Slice and serve your delicious brownies!
