Description

A refreshingly sweet drink combining juicy peaches, zesty ginger, and tart lemon for a perfect summer beverage.


Ingredients

  • 3 Peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 ½-inch Piece Ginger, peeled and sliced
  • ½ Cup Cane Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 5 Cups Cold Water
  • Ice Cubes
  • Fresh Cut Lemon Slices

Instructions

  1. Combine 3 sliced peaches, 1 ½-inch piece of sliced ginger, and ½ cup of cane sugar in a saucepan with 1 cup of water. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher.
  3. Mix in 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 5 cups of cold water.
  4. Chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lemon and peach slices.

Notes

For a fizzy twist, use sparkling water instead of still water. You can also freeze peach slices in the ice cubes for added flair.
