Description

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for drizzle)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  3. Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  4. Combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  5. Blend the wet and dry ingredients without overmixing.
  6. Fold in nuts if using.
  7. Prepare streusel topping with flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly.
  8. Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle streusel on top.
  9. Bake for about 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a rack.
  11. Make the drizzle by whisking powdered sugar and milk until smooth, then drizzle over the cooled loaf.
