Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cloves
  • 1 Egg (for egg wash)
  • Sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves in a medium bowl.
  3. Roll out your puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Cut each sheet into about 6 strips, aiming for 1-inch wide.
  5. Spread a generous tablespoon of the pumpkin mixture along the center of each strip.
  6. Twist the sides of each strip over the filling to enclose it.
  7. Arrange the twists on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops of each twist with the egg wash and sprinkle sugar on top.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and puffed up.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
