A refreshing Southern Fresh Peach Iced Tea bursting with sweet peach flavor, perfect for summertime gatherings.
Ingredients

- 3 large fresh peaches (diced)
- 5 cups water (divided)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
- 2–3 family-size tea bags
Instructions
- Prepare Your Peaches: Wash the peaches, slice in half, remove the pit, and dice into small cubes. Set aside.
- Boil Water for Tea: In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a rolling boil.
- Steep the Tea: Add tea bags to the pot. Remove from heat and steep for 5-8 minutes.
- Sweeten It Up: In a saucepan, combine diced peaches, 2 cups of sugar, and 1 cup of water. Heat until sugar dissolves and peaches soften.
- Combine the Flavors: Remove tea bags, pour peach syrup into the tea, and optionally strain.
- Add Lemon Zest (Optional): Stir in lemon zest.
- Chill It Down: Fill your pitcher with ice and add the tea mixture, topping off with cold water.
- Serve & Enjoy: Pour into glasses and garnish with peach slices or mint leaves.
Notes
