These Taco Cones wrap seasoned fillings, melty cheese, and crunchy toppings into a soft tortilla cone that’s easy to hold and impossible not to love. Perfect for busy weeknights, kids’ dinners, parties, or game day spreads.
Ingredients

4–6 small flour tortillas (8-inch, soft & pliable)

1 cup cooked taco meat or protein
(ground beef, shredded chicken, black beans, lentils, or tofu) -
½ cup shredded cheese (Mexican blend, cheddar, Monterey Jack)

½ cup shredded lettuce, very well dried

½ cup diced tomatoes or thick salsa

Sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional)

Guacamole or diced avocado (optional)

Hot sauce or pickled jalapeños (optional)

Lime wedges, for serving
Optional Homemade Taco Seasoning (for 1 lb meat):

1 Tbsp chili powder

1½ tsp cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

¾ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

Pinch cayenne (optional)
Instructions

Prepare the Filling
Cook and season your protein. Keep it warm. -
Warm the Tortillas
Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 15–20 seconds per side until flexible. -
Shape the Cones
Roll each tortilla into a cone, overlapping edges by about 2 inches. Secure with a toothpick. -
Fill in Layers

Start with warm meat or beans

Add cheese so it melts

Top with lettuce and tomatoes

Finish with sour cream, guac, and hot sauce

Remove toothpicks and enjoy while warm.

Flour tortillas work best—corn tends to crack.
