Description

Craving cool-down bliss in a glass? This Strawberry Lemonade Slush is your shortcut to sunshine—with juicy strawberries, tart lemons, and ice blended into a frosty, flavor-packed dream. Grandma Lou’s backyard classic, now blender-approved and better than any bottled mix. It’s the sip of the season!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups ice (try coconut water ice for a twist)

  • 2 cups fresh or slightly thawed frozen strawberries

  • 1½ cups water (or half sparkling water for fizz!)

  • ¾ cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)

  • ½ cup sugar (or to taste – honey/agave works too)

Instructions

  1. Add to Blender: Ice, strawberries, lemon juice, water, and sugar.

  2. Blend: Start low, then high for 45–60 secs until thick, slushy, and scoopable.

  3. Taste Test: Adjust lemon or sweetener as needed. Pinch of salt = flavor booster!

  4. Serve Cold: Pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with lemon slices, mint, or berries.

Notes

  • Berry Mix: Try raspberries or blueberries.

  • Herbal Vibe: Add fresh mint or basil.

  • Tropical Touch: Swap water with coconut water + pineapple splash.

  • Creamy Option: Add ¼ cup Greek yogurt or coconut milk.

  • Party Mode: Top with prosecco for a bubbly twist!
