Description

Delightful bites that combine caramel apples and apple pie, wrapped in flaky biscuit dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of biscuit dough
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Butter, for brushing
  • Optional: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the apples by peeling and dicing them, then mixing with sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Get the biscuit dough ready by separating and flattening each round.
  4. Fill each biscuit round with a portion of the apple mixture and drizzle caramel on top.
  5. Seal the biscuit dough over the filling to form a ball.
  6. Brush the outside of each bomb with melted butter and place them on the cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and serve warm.

Notes

A squeeze of lemon juice can prevent the apples from browning. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for added deliciousness.
