Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

  • 1 ripe avocado, diced

  • ¼ small red onion, finely chopped

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (or mint/basil)

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: 1 small jalapeño, seeds removed and finely diced

Optional add-ins:

  • ½ cup fresh corn kernels (grilled for extra flavor)

  • ½ diced red bell pepper


Instructions

1. Prep Ingredients

  • Wash and dice strawberries.

  • Dice avocado, finely chop onion and cilantro.

  • If using jalapeño, remove seeds and dice finely.

2. Combine Gently

  • In a medium bowl, fold together strawberries, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using).

  • Add avocado last to minimize bruising.

3. Add Lime & Season

  • Squeeze lime juice over the mixture.

  • Fold gently to coat all ingredients.

  • Season with salt and pepper. Taste and adjust.

4. Optional Rest

  • Cover and refrigerate 10–15 minutes for flavors to meld. Serve immediately for best texture.
