Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken: Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Make the sauce: In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil.
  3. Cook the chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Glaze the chicken: Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and baste for an additional couple of minutes.
  5. Rest and serve: Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add sriracha to the glaze. You can also bake the chicken for a healthier option.
