  • 1 can Coconut Milk or Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Cilantro (for garnish)
  • Naan (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the cubed chicken with plain yogurt. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics: In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add Garlic and Ginger: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Spice It Up: Sprinkle in the garam masala, cumin, and paprika. Toast the spices for about 30 seconds.
  5. Incorporate Tomato Paste: Add the tomato paste, stirring until evenly combined and let cook for another minute.
  6. Add the Chicken and Coconut Milk: Toss in the marinated chicken, stirring to coat it. Then pour in the coconut milk or heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Season and Garnish: Taste and adjust with salt and pepper. Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top.
