Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Breast (Ready in 30 Minutes)
Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup chicken broth (low-sodium)

¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions
1️⃣ Prep & Season Chicken

Pat chicken dry. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Let sit 5 minutes while pan heats.
2️⃣ Sear Chicken

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and sear 5–6 minutes per side until golden and internal temp reaches 165°F.

Remove chicken and tent with foil.
3️⃣ Make the Sauce

Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the same pan.

Add garlic, sauté 60 seconds (do not brown).

Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits.

Add heavy cream, stir to combine.

Mix in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer gently 4–5 minutes until thickened.
4️⃣ Combine & Finish

Return chicken to pan, spoon sauce over, and heat 2–3 minutes.

Taste, adjust salt/pepper.

Notes

Thin or watery sauce? Reduce longer or whisk in 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp cold water.

Chicken thighs instead? Cook 7–8 min per side, possibly finish in 375°F oven 10–15 min.

Sauce separated? Remove from heat, whisk in 1 tbsp cold cream or broth, or blend briefly.
