Description

Delicious homemade chicken shawarma wraps filled with marinated chicken, creamy garlic sauce, crunchy pickles, and crispy fries—all wrapped in soft lavash bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs Chicken Thighs
  • 4 Lavash Bread
  • 1/2 cup Garlic Sauce
  • 1 cup Sumac Onions
  • 1 cup Pickles
  • 2 cups Fries
  • 23 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add lemon juice and marinate.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Preheat grill or skillet and cook marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until cooked through.
  3. Rest and Slice: Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes, then slice into thin strips.
  4. Assemble the Wrap: Lay lavash bread flat, spread garlic sauce, add sliced chicken, sumac onions, pickles, and fries.
  5. Roll it Up: Fold the sides over the filling and roll it up tightly.
  6. Serve: Slice in half and enjoy with extra garlic sauce on the side.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding jalapeños. Excellent served with tabbouleh or a simple salad.
