Description

A simple yet delicious recipe for Balsamic Baked Chicken Breast, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken, coating it well.
  5. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until juices run clear and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Baste with marinade halfway through baking, if desired.
  8. Remove from oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil leaves.
